GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a globally successful and highly recognisable manufacturer, located in Dudley.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Night Shift Warehouse Team Leader/Tool Setter to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, to plan, direct, and coordinate all activities pertaining to night shift production operations.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Thursday 19:00pm - 05:30am. Please only apply if you can commit to working nights.

Our client specialises in the development of software solutions and steel products that are supplied to clients, worldwide.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Team Leader and Tool Setter that can demonstrate experience in a similar role, with production supervisory experience, tool setting experience and strong managerial skills.

 

Team Leader/Tool Setter main duties:

 

  • You will ensure night shift production planning is implemented and maintained
  • Supervise the nightshift employees and delegate work tasks when required, directing employees to production line when breakdowns occur
  • You will handle the setting and changing of Tooling - report breakdowns, ensure tool room is informed of tooling services
  • You will deliver a full handover from and to the day shift team ensuring the production related documents are completed for the shift and handed to Production Planner/ Manager
  • Meet quality requirements and ensure all health and safety quality policies and procedures are met

 

Team Leader/Tool Setter desired skills and experience:

 

  • You will have at least 5 years production supervisory experience  
  • Tool setting experience is essential
  • You will have good man management and supervisory skills with experience in leading teams
  • Computer literate with strong IT skills
  • A technical background would be beneficial

 

 

For all the above you can expect a salary of £27-31K which is dependent on experience. You will also receive a shift allowance of 15% for the night shift and fantastic fringe benefits.
