We at GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company, based in the Tewkesbury and Evesham areas, and we are looking for a MIG Welder to join their team on a full-time, permanent, contract.
Our client specialises in the design, development and manufacture of attachments for materials handling. They are an ever growing company who are now looking to add to their fantastic team.
As a MIG Welder, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience within the Fitting trade and will also be able to demonstrate a welding capability.
MIG Welder main duties:
- MIG Welding/Fabricating (Training can be provided to further previous experience)
- Ability to interpret drawings/parts
- Welding to thickness' of 2mm-8mm
- Quality checking parts to ensure that they are correct and defect free
MIG Welder desired skills and experience:
- Completion of Welding apprenticeship or demonstrable experience
- Understanding of technical drawings is a must
- Fabrication experience
- Welding experience
This position will be operating on a Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 16:00pm with overtime being available between 07:00am and 17:00pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings.
For all of the above you will be rewarded with an hourly rate of up to £12.50, plus additional company benefits.
