GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful, Worcestershire based, independent Estate Agency that specialise in property sales and lettings.

We are supporting their recruitment for an experienced Lettings Manager to take responsibility for managing their Worcester, Malvern and Student renal department and guide the team to continual success.

Our client is experiencing a significant period of growth and success following a recent restructure so this position is a great opportunity for someone to make their mark on the department.

This position would suit an experienced candidate with at least two years’ experience in a senior Lettings position or either an experienced manager or a senior negotiator seeking a move into a managerial role.

It is vital you can demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of professionals within a similar role.  

Lettings Manager main duties:

  •  
  • New Business including valuations and current landlord development.
  • Landlord reviews of portfolio performance including landlord goals and plans moving forward.
  • Ensuring that the tenancy team are compliant and following correct processes.
  • Marketing properties
  • Responsibility to ensure all properties and rooms are Let
  • Looking at alternatives for finding tenants rather than relying on the usual portal leads/enquiries.
  • Overseeing the implementation and running of our remote portfolio properties (these are properties/blocks that are not within Worcestershire)
  • Staff development, one to ones and KPI’s training and monitoring.
  • New ideas to better improve efficiency, revenue and customer experience

 

Lettings Manager desired skills and experience:

 

  • A proven record in running a successful lettings business/department
  • An ability to build great relationships where customers really buy in to you as a person and a fantastic record for turning valuations into listings and profit
  • Drive and determination together with plenty of get up and go together with pace, passion and enthusiasm!
  • You will have to work hard to keep up with the challenges you will face and be focused on turning the “ordinary” into the “extraordinary”.
  • Getting stuck in and making things happen

 

This position can offer a basic salary of up to £30K plus OTE in the region of £35-40,000.

 

We are looking for a driven, organised, well-presented professional with excellent admin and IT skills and the ability to manage a busy and successful small team. An ARLA qualification would be preferred but not essential.

 

 

This position can offer an immediate start for the successful candidate.
