Food Production Operative
We are currently working on behalf of our client based in Walsall. Due to a significant increase in workload they are recruiting for a significant number of Food Production Operatives to join them on a temporary basis for a period of 3-6 months. The roles currently open are for both Production Operatives and Packing Operatives. These roles could be permanent for the right candidate,
Pay:
- £9.50 per hour basic (42 hours per week)
- £11.87 per hour for Monday to Friday overtime over 42 hours
- £14.25 per hour for any hours on Saturday
- Monday to Friday - 06:30-17:15. Occasional Saturday or in week overtime available
Working within this role your standard duties will be:
- Packing of fresh pork products
- Cutting, sealing and packing the pork products
- Moving goods through a production packing line
- Quality checking products to ensure that they are correct and defect free pre delivery
Desired skills are as follows:
- Previous Food manufacturing (Desirable but not essential)
- Previous quality checking experience (Desirable but not essential)
