GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Malvern for an Electrical Service Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Our client is a is a specialist in the power electronics providing nationwide maintenance and service support for major organisations and water utilities.
In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of a range of UPS systems.
Our client will offer internal and external training (a written test will need to be passed). You will be based either in the workshop or you will shadow an experienced Engineer until you are competent working on the equipment.
Note: to be considered for this role, you will need prior experience of working with single phase and 3 phase systems. Furthermore, this role will heavily based on the road, so please only apply if you can commit to these essential requirements.
Electrical Service Engineer main duties:
- Commissioning, servicing and repair of a range of UPS systems
- Single phase and 3 phase wiring systems
- Working with single phase and 3 phase systems
- Hands on mechanical work e.g. drilling / wiring
- Internal and external training provided
Electrical Service Engineer desired skills and experience:
- Electrical Service Engineer/Electrician from ANY engineering industry
- Experience of working with single phase and 3 phase systems
- Must be happy to travel
- Previous maintenance experience would be a great advantage
- An electrical engineering/electrician qualification would be advantageous
This is a full time, permanent position, Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm with an early finish on Friday of 14:30pm.
