GMP Recruiting are seeking a number of Class 2 Drivers to join our team working at a client based in Daventry. We are looking for drivers to work well known transport company. You will be working Monday to Friday on trunk runs between 3 locations (a matter of a few miles apart) working to strict delivery schedules.


Monday to Friday 15:00 - 23:00

Overtime available in the week and at weekends

Rate of pay

£11.00 per hour PAYE

Driver requirements:

·Completing timed trunk runs between 3 sites, you will be expected to adhere to our clients delivery schedules

·Comply with compliance and health & safety procedures.

·Good Spoken English to be able to communicate with customers with other colleagues.

·Reliability and excellent punctuality

Role Responsibilities

·Driving and operating your vehicle in accordance with Road Traffic Legislation and the Highway Code keeping all vehicles clean and serviceable.

·Ensure that all Daily Vehicle Checks are completed and any defects reported

·Make effective use of safety equipment, particularly personal protective equipment. There is a zero-tolerance policy on health and safety.

·To comply with all legislative requirements, company policy and procedures always.

·To return all POD’s, PDA’s, and other associated documentation applicable as instructed by your Manager/Supervisor the client

Qualifications and requirements:

·Class 1 C+E License

·Digital tachograph Card

·DQC Card (CPC)

·Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience

·No more than 6 points to be on your license (DR10 and TT offences not accepted)
