GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Droitwich for a Warehouse Operative to join their ever growing and highly successful business, on a full time, permanent contract.

If you have previous experience in a busy warehouse environment as an operative and hold a valid FLT, Reach and Counterbalance licence, THEN I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!
Warehouse Operative main duties:
- Goods In – Receiving, checking, locating parts
- Physically, picking and packing parts for UK and overseas orders
- Continuous Housekeeping
- Physically kitting parts for on-site manufacturing
- Cycle counting and stocktaking
- take delivery of goods and raw materials
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Move stock around the warehouse using lifting equipment
- Make sure stock is stored correctly and safely
- Pack and wrap goods
- Load goods ready for dispatch
- Stocktake
Warehouse Operatives desired skills and experience
- Having a valid FLT, Reach and Counterbalance licence is ESSENTIAL
- Previous warehouse operations experience
- Understanding and working to H&S standards including COSHH
- Willing to learn and work hard in a team
- Numerical
- Logistical
- Manual handling confident
- Basic IT proficient
It is essential that you have a valid driving licence, FLT Licence and can demonstrate previous experience in Warehouse Stock Control to be considered.
The working hours are 09:00am to 17:30pm Monday – Friday. The hourly rate for this role will be £10.50 per hour.
