GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Malvern for a Sales Executive to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is a is a specialist in the power electronics providing nationwide maintenance and service support for major organisations and water utilities.

Our client will offer support, coaching and training to the successful candidate through a combination of formal internal training courses, on-the-job mentoring, team meetings and one-to-one meetings with your manager.

 

Sales Executive main duties:

 

  • Liaising with customers to select the optimum product solution for their specific requirements.
  • Preparing quotations. Discuss, negotiate, and finalise proposals with customers; ensuring key deadlines are met.
  • Develop, build, and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing and new customers, to maximise sales of products and services
  • Dealing with customer enquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Following up of quotation to secure purchase orders.
  • Monitor marketplace conditions on a regular basis and respond to changes to optimise business operations.
  • Visits to clients and company events overnight stays maybe required at times.

 

Sales Executive desired skills and experience:

 

  • Be an ambitious Sales Executive with a proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies
  • Be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, in addition to strong influencing and networking skills
  • Possess a strong desire for success and be committed to do the work necessary to achieve results
  • Be a self-disciplined, confident decision maker who takes full responsibility for their own performance
  • Excel at finding new opportunities and be able to rapidly grow new territories and markets
  • Be able to build rapport and relationships with ease and be confident in communicating with all levels of potential customers
  • Be a committed team player, taking personal pride in operating effectively and efficiently in all areas of responsibility and have a desire to take on further responsibilities within the business
  • Be able to actively listen, allowing you to analyse prospective customer needs
  • Determine client requirements and ascertain potential solutions
  • Having experience of Variable Speed Drives or UPS Systems will be a distinct advantage
  • Full UK valid driving license

 

This is a full time, permanent position, Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm with an early finish on Friday of 14:30pm.

 

The successful candidate will be rewarded of an annual salary of up to £45,000. There are some great company benefits included too, such as a company car, laptop, phone and more.
