GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a vastly successful Birmingham based manufacturer, consolidator and innovator that supplies to Retail, Leisure, Food Service and Hospitality market sectors, as well as a range of major UK and European retailers.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Sales Account Support Executive to join their award-winning team on a full time, permanent contract. The division has seen a significant growth, so this position has been created to ensure further continual success.

As the first point of contact for the customer, your actions and effective communication will help to mitigate any potential risks within the supply chain and secure potential opportunities. You will help retain and grow existing business by taking responsibility to complete any account admin on, enabling the Account Manager to attend regular customer facing meetings and drive new business.

To be considered you will demonstrate proven experience as an Account Support Executive or similar customer service role

Sales Account Support Executive main duties:

  • Customer engagement via weekly Teams calls and occasionally face to face customer meeting in conjunction with the Account Manager
  • Ensuring delivery exceptions are met and customers' SLAs are maintained
  • Interaction with the Stock Control and Imports teams to manage customer forecasts and intake
  • Creating sales reports and analysing margin performance for Head of Division
  • Overseeing and implementing new product lines, from engagement with purchasing colleagues through to set-up and specification creation
  • Managing new line set-ups with customers, including use of customers portal systems
  • Engaging and overseeing NPD projects with award winning design team Holiday cover for sales order processing team

Sales Account Support Executive desired skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as an Account Support Executive or similar customer service role
  • Proactive and display strong tenacity to see the task through
  • Excellent written and oral skills with the ability to build strong relationships both with
  • customers and internal colleagues
  • Organisational and me management skills
  • Quick off the mark and used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver, solution driven
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer's c on to maintain the Company’s reputation
  • Demonstrable experience and sound knowledge of using Excel.
  • SAP knowledge and experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to develop new internal processes and work with relevant departments to implement.

For all the above requirements the successful candidate can expect to receive a highly competitive basic salary up to £30,000 which is demonstrable with experience, plus additional company benefits and great career progression opportunities.
