GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful leading international manufacturer located in Worcestershire. We are recruiting on their behalf for a Quality Manager to join their ever growing team on a full time, permanent contract.
Our client specialises in manufacturing components supplying the aerospace and defence, industrial gas turbine, specialist automotive, industrial, transportation and recreation markets to name a few, so previous experience in these areas are desirable.
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the quality aspects of the management system that is accredited to ISO9001 standard. You will promote a quality focused culture throughout the site, drive improved performance and satisfaction through robust procedures and practices, and thus play a key part in ensuring products meet quality standards required to minimise quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction.
You will maintain all quality documentation in line with company and customer requirements including specifications, third party documents, Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions and the Quality Manual.
You will coordinate the internal and external quality audit programme, provide leadership during the quality reviews with the site leadership team and own the management of change procedures. You will also maintain an effective system for monitoring and controlling non-conformances arising from internal processes and audits through robust corrective/preventative actions.
Our client is going through a substantial period of growth and have exciting plans for their future therefore candidates that can demonstrate experience of implementing and overseeing new accreditations into a business, is of particular relevance.
This position is a Monday – Friday 37.5 per week and you will be offered a salary of up to £60,000, which is pending relevant experience, plus addition company benefits.
