GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a hugely successful manufacturing company located in Lydney.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Purchasing Assistant, on a full time, temporary contract for 3 - 6 months.

The role would be Monday to Friday day work reporting directly to  the Purchasing Manager.

Pay

  • £10.50 per hour

Role

  • Raise purchase orders against production plan requirements
  • Manage a small portfolio of manufacturing partners
  • Sign off invoices and manage prices levels
  • Assist with SAP data entry and help prepare for MRP implementation
  • Assist with alignment of SAP databases with sister companies

Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge and understanding of SAP
  • Purchasing experience
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
