GMP Recruitment are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician for our fantastic reputable client in Gloucester.
This will initially be a temporary 3-month assignment working as part of an established laboratory team.
We are looking for individuals that have the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a time sensitive, fast paced, environment with strong communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform routine QA testing to enable product release for our customers using a variety of physical and chemical test methods.
- Review current lab testing policies and procedures as part of the team process to support ISO 9001 and ISO14001 requirements.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and simplify processes related to product testing, whilst maintaining safety and quality requirements.
- Actively promote safe working for self and others, by following correct documented procedures and using correct PPE.
All applicants my have previous experience working in a laboratory.
This role comes with an immediate start and weekly pay and will involve working on a day shift.
