NOTE: Please only apply if you can commit being flexible on working times. This includes working 5 days out of 7; available to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and very occasionally nights.

Our client is a UK leader in commercial cleaning and are a specialiser in their sector. They are going through a substantial period of growth and are looking to extend their team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a hard working and dedicated individual, who is happy to learn and get stuck in. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who can demonstrate this.
Cleaning Operative main duties:
- Carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the work schedule
- Take ownership of Health and Safety for yourself and others
- Complete all tasks in accordance with current legal Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and appearance
- Wear protective clothing where necessary
- Ensure any appropriate warning signs are always in use
- Observe and comply with site rules and regulations at all times
- Report problems and non-conformances to the Team Leader
- Maintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe working order
- Report all machine and building faults to the Team Leaders
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer and management requests
- Undertake any other duties requested by team leaders and management team
Cleaning Operative desired skills and experience:
- Be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude
- Full clean UK/EU driving licence
- Be able to work to a schedule
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be able to work using their own initiative
- Prepared to travel and stay away for short periods of time
- Experience of commercial kitchen cleaning (Desirable, not essential)
- Experience of kitchen extraction cleaning (Desirable, not essential)
- Knowledge and understanding of COSHH regulations (Desirable, not essential)
- Emergency First Aid at Work training (Desirable, not essential)
For all the above requirements the successful Cleaning Operative will receive an annual salary from £20,000, plus additional company benefits such as access to a company van and more.
