GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client located in Kidderminster, for a Graduate Level Mechanical Design Engineer to join their well-known, highly successful and rapidly growing organisation.
Our client is a lead provider of automation engineering services and solutions across a wide range of industries, including automotive, rail, aerospace, pharmaceutical, food and beverage.
We are looking for a graduate level mechanical engineer with experience in the design and development of turnkey automated systems.
You must have an understanding/knowledge of SolidWorks and ideally possess 12 months of experience in mechanical design.
Graduate Level Mechanical Design Engineer main duties:
- Understanding and delivering to customer requirements
- Contributing to the preparation of system-level design specifications
- Contributing to external & internal design reviews
- Draughting drawings for release to production
- Mechanical systems design and development.
- Configuration control within ISO9001 procedures
- Support production activities
- Preparing documentation for system operation & maintenance
Project Manager desired skills and experience:
- Ideally accumulated 1 to 2 years’ experience in mechanical design
- Working familiarity with SolidWorks
- Ability to employ engineering techniques to produce robust, innovative solutions.
- Ability to be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
