We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Family Lawyer to join their Worcester office on a permanent contract, to focus predominantly on Private Children matters and injunctions.
Our client is a highly successful and expanding legal firm that offer a quality service across a range of legal matters to an ever growing client base. Their diversity, breadth of experience and unique level of hands-on expertise are their greatest strengths.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a qualified, professional and empathetic professional with demonstrable experience in Private Children law.
We are also able to consider newly qualified Solicitors with strong knowledge and passion for this area of law.
Family Lawyer main duties:
- Provide legal advice and representation to the firm on matters relating to family and child services, care proceedings and private children
- Manage a reasonable caseload of work related to the area of law with compassion and professionalism
- You must be willing to undertake your own advocacy
- Assist in the supervision and training of less experienced staff
- Contribute towards the continual success and growth of their family law department
Family Lawyer required skills and experience:
- You will be Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive entitled to practice
- You must be able to demonstrate an excellent oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrable skills and strengths in negotiation, drafting, persuading and influencing
- You will be required to demonstrate advocacy skills and a willingness to undertake advocacy
- To succeed in this role you will have recent, in-depth knowledge and post qualification experience in the area of Family and Child legal matters
