GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Stonehouse for a Despatch Operative Loader to join their ever growing and highly successful business, on a full time, permanent contract.

This position operates on a standard weekly shift pattern of Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 16:30pm.
In this role you will be responsible for working within our Despatch department, vehicle loading and any other reasonable instruction given by senior member of staff that will fall within your capabilities.
Despatch Operative Loader main duties:
- Picking of window frames, glass and components for loading onto trolleys/lorries
- Co-ordinate and assemble finished products and other component parts from the various production areas in the despatch area, in a logical sequence
- Sort by delivery day(s), by customer, by job numbers on trolleys ready for loading and despatch
- Manually load the products onto vehicles, in the correct delivery, ensuring that the goods are securely leashed to the sides of the box van and protected against damage in transit
- Ensure that all accessories samples and literature where necessary are loaded for delivery as required
- Housekeeping (yard and despatch area) to be kept clean and presentable
- Reporting any missing items/shortages to the Lead Loader
Despatch Operative Loader desired skills and experience:
- Previous Warehouse / manual handballing experience is highly advantageous
- Good people and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Team player with a flexible approach
For all the above you will be rewarded with an annual take home of £18,740, plus additional company benefits.
