GMP Recruitment are proud to partner a highly successful, fast growing manufacturing company with a global customer base. We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Compliance Officer to join their team located at their site in West Herefordshire.

The successful Compliance Officer will play an integral role in ensuring the efficient and diligent operation of the business compliance function. You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the site and ensure that external and internal regulatory requirements and processes are executed, understood and followed.

As compliance Officer you will also be responsible for making and implementing recommendations for improvement as appropriate to ensure operational excellence is adhered to at all times. 

The ideal candidate for this role will be analytical, process driven with excellent attention to detail. Experience in a similar compliance, audit or regulatory led role is required.

Compliance Officer main duties:

  • Management of the change control system and customer complaints
  • Maintenance of the Quality system in compliance with internal procedures
  • Management of the Document Control System and coordinating the periodic review of all Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) across the site
  • Set-up and maintenance of regulatory files for inspections
  • Manage the audit schedule for QP’s (Qualified Person)
  • Management and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for compliance
  • Collation and preparation of data for local and site briefings in-line with the sites strategic objectives
  • Manage and perform reviews of CAPA (correct and preventative actions) effectiveness and suggest improvements as appropriate
  • Management of archived GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) documentation
  • Ensure you always remain in a compliance status regarding work activities

 

Compliance Officer essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a Compliance/Audit or Regulation led role
  • Ability to demonstrate good numeracy & literacy skills through qualification and professional experience
  • Computer literate: Experienced and proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective and clear communicator with ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
  • Analytical with investigative skills and experienced with report writing
  • Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of auditing
  • This is a predominantly office/site-based role, however flexibility for very occasional travel may be required
  • Ability to work flexibly to the needs of the business

 

This Compliance Officer position can offer an immediate start for the successful candidate and for all the above requirements you will be offered a highly competitive basic salary up to £26,000, which is commensurate with experience, plus additional company benefits and a truly excellent working environment.
