GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful Worcestershire based, bespoke metal fabrication specialists. We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced CAD CAM Programmer to join their growing team, located at their site in Pershore.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday – Thursday 08:00am – 17:15pm with an earlier finish on a Friday at 13:00pm.
The successful candidate will be required to efficiently create CNC programs for our client’s laser machines, turret press’ and press brakes using Amada and Jetcam software.
It is preferred you can demonstrate experience with experience with the above sheet metal nesting programs, but training will be given.
CAD CAM Programmer main duties:
- The successful applicant will be required to efficiently create CNC programs for inhouse laser machines, turret press and press brakes using Amada and Jetcam software.
- You will manage one-part jobs to whole fabrication projects through to completion
- You will produce and check CAD Drawings
- Improve manufacturing processes where possible.
CAD CAM Programmer desired skills and experience:
- Previous experience with sheet metal nesting programs essential, preferable Amada and Jetcam but training will be given
- Knowledge of Amada press brakes and laser machines
- Knowledge of sheet metal / fabrication manufacturing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Great attitude towards problem solving
- Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
This position is perfect for a punctual, hardworking and enthusiastic CAD CAM Programmer that is with the ability to maximise productivity and maintain high quality standards.
The successful candidate can expect to receive a salary up to £27,000 which is demonstrable with experience, plus additional company benefits.
